Details and photos have emerged on the upcoming Verizon Moto Q 9m, not to be confused with the Moto Q9h.
A few weeks back, the Boy Genius Report manged to get their hands on the Moto Q 9h, running on AT&T Wireless. Today, they offered a hands-on look at a different variant, the Moto Q 9m complete with Verizon branding. The ‘m’ stands for music and could be the phone Verizon is banking on to combat the upcoming iPhone. Denny Strigl, CEO of Verizon, recently confirmed they were working on their version of an iPhone killer saying, “We do have a very good response in the mill”.

Moto Q9m Specificiations
Details are still sketchy, but here’s what we know:
- Supports miniSD cards for memory expansion
- Uses miniUSB port for charging and connections
- Moto Q 9m includes croll wheel (not found Q9). Presumably, this will be used to scroll through music
- Custom home screen features shortcuts to camera, messaging, web, music

It’s surprising to see such major hardware changes along the same product line. No official word on release date.
