If you have never heard of Waze, it’s a social community based GPS turn by turn navigation application for mobile devices. Currently support is available for iPhone, Android, and other Windows Mobile phones. Currently, no support is available or in production for Windows Phone 7. However, Waze has a user voice support site where users can collectively vote on new features. Guess what is listed over on this site as not only a new feature but a whole new platform for Waze, that’s right Windows Phone 7. Currently the votes rally up at almost 1300 votes, and has the most votes on the website overall as well for most desired “feature.”
A Waze admin has already left a note on the voting thread, which should much improve the anticipation for this application coming to WP7:
Every vote counts and users of the WP7 platform should not pass up this opportunity to vote for a great GPS navigation service on a great up and coming platform. The link to the Waze voice support site is below, jump on over and mark your votes in and spread the word. If you want to know more about Waze head on over to their site. It is quite an impressive and very original application to have on a mobile device, especially in this very social internet day and age.
