If you’re looking forward to getting a WP7 phone, you may want to avoid the HTC 7 Trophy. Why? Two reasons: As you can see in the video above, the Trophy runs significantly slower than the Samsung Omnia 7, even though the pair have the same processor. This may be due to the Samsung using built-in NAND memory as opposed to an internal MicroSD card.
There are also reports that certain HTC 7 Trophys are shipping with screens that don’t have as good viewing angles and noticeably worse color and contrast. We don’t know if this is an isolated incident or not.
Regardless, the HTC 7 Trophy might not be the best device to get when you go to pick up your WP7 handset.
