As we expected, today’s event brought the official announcement of the Nokia Lumia 920. The newest member of the Nokia Lumia family features a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD plus display. The curved glass display brings what Nokia calls “better than HD resolution” that is combined with an ultra-fast refresh rate.
It features a dual-core 1.5Ghz processor, 8-plus megapixel plus PureView camera and Nokia’s Location suite that features “City Lens”, offering augmented reality.
The Nokia Lumia 920 also supports wireless charging using the Q wireless standard. Nokia has signed deals with Virgin Atlantic and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf offering wireless charging at those destinations.
The screen features super sensitivite touch screen that has two modes, which allows you to use the phone should you be wearing gloves.
It will be available in yellow, red, gray, white and black.
No word yet on carrier availability and/or pricing.
