At an expected price of Rs 11,000 the Nokia Lumia 610 is set to arrive in India within the next few months (soon). Nokia India’s marketing director, Viral Oza revealed the fact that the handset will be coming to Nokia, without a specific timeline, only “soon.” No price was given either, but based on pricing comparison t0 other parts of the world, the expected price rests on Rs 11,000.
The Lumia 710 (Rs 15,500) and Lumia 800 have been available for some time now in India, but with the arrival of the low-end Lumia 610, it is only fitting that Nokia remains dedicated to one of their strongest markets. Nokia shows such dedication by bringing their current Windows Phone lineup, from low-end to higher priced devices, all to the India market.
The Nokia Lumia 610 is one of Nokia’s own low-end Windows Phones. With it’s arrival in India, the Lumia 610 will have Windows Phone Tango on board, a 800 MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, and 3.7″ display, 5MP rear camera, and 8 GB internal storage. Also, being a Nokia Windows Phone, all exclusive Nokia applications will also be available on the device.
