Motorola has been beta testing the much anticipated software update for the Moto Q. The update was not officially released, but some Q owners accessed the update on Motorola’s site before it was pulled.
Motorola does not recommend installing this update. Some members in our forums have been reported success with the update, so it’s anticipated an official release is not far off. Among the enhancements, the Motorola Q update will include:
- Support for Push email
- Support for frames in IE
- Bluetooth will no longer be tied to Flight Mode
- Bluetooth DUN will be enabled
- SMS to E-mail functionality now supported
