Follow these easy steps to reset your Windows Phone to factory settings and erase all personal information.
- From the home screen, tap the ‘right’ arrow at the top right and scroll to settings.
- Under ‘System’, scroll and select ‘about’
- Scroll down and select ‘reset your phone’
- You will see the following warning: Resetting your phone will earase all your personal content, including apps that you have purchased and downloaded, and will restore the factory settings. Do you want to continue. If you are absolutely certain you are ready to restore Windows Phone 7 to factory settings, then select ‘Yes’.
That’s it. Your phone will be restored to the same state as when you took it out of the box.
