i use msn messenger, it works just like the pc version except you cant tell if they are typing or not, i think it was the last version available before they stop providing it with windows live. if you want it is listed on my apps.

yeah msn messenger is good, although because i use googletalk as well, i prefer having both accounts with oneprogram. i tried the trial of mundu im lastnight and found it to move kind of sluggish. paringo seems to be the bst out there. if only they would implement some more features within it... other than that. its golden!

I love slick for all its features although here are some quirks i have.

For some reason when i open slick, and press connnect, itll close by itself. I have to do this like 4-5 times before it actually connects. Or i have to navigate in the menus, then just go back and click connect. Its really weird.
I use it for Gtalk, AIM, Yahoo, and MSN.

Battery life? Eh... its fine. I see the data counter and I see it only sends and recieves about 100kb... in a few hours... so its not bad at all. My battery life is fine.

    You may try to reinstall?

i have a quick question before i start using any messengers, does it have to use sms/text messaging or can/does it just work similarly to regular messengers. I'm on vacation,so this is the only time i plan on using a messenger, and dont have unlimitied texting so buying a plan isnt an option for me. Much appreciated
