are you guys installing to the device or storage card? the cab file is 1.5mb, seems a bit big to put on the device.

also, for those who have been using it already, hows the battery life? that is the only problem i have with using slick is that it kills my battery

well ive been using it for a few das, thought i would post my results. i installed to the card with no problems. i did have a problem typing in my username and password for the first time, and everytime i hit backspace it closed the app. but once i got logged in, i like how the program looks. it is a bit laggy when moving down your buddy list. the main problem i had was that the app kept closing. i had it running in the background, and checked to make sure in task manager (using almost 5 megs of ram btw). but after about an hour i would check again and it would be closed. i cant keep it running for more than an hour.

even though it only stayed open about an hour each time, did you see any difference in battery life? I would report the closing issue to AOL's bug report.

since i downloaded this app i pretty much keep it open all the time because it closes al the time in the background. so pretty much if my phones not in use its on the aim screen. dead battery VERRY fast. weell for a q9c with extended battery... for example woke up at 2 pm yesterday after charging it all night, fully charged and i would get the battery alert by aroun 9 or 10 pm.
