PDANet
I'm finally getting some time to try and get all of my questions answered. When I load PDANet on my Q, it tends to freeze fairly often. Then I'll uninstall it, and have no more freezing. Has anyone ever seen/ heard this, and is there any way to make my Q more stable when running PDANet, or in general?
THanks,
Paul
P.S.
I've never had issues with my Q- the only problem has been the crashing when PDANet is installed. Go figure.

PDANet works perfectly on my Q1. Wonder if your providers tethering app os lauching as well? Just a stab in the dark.

That sounds like a good stab to me...
I haven't had any problems running PDAnet either.
You could also Kill the PDAnet app on your phone when not using it to see if that makes a difference for you. Again on my Q it makes no difference to performance whether it's running or not, but it's worth a try.

I just switched from a Q to a 9c. Now pdanet won't work. I have version 1.6.5. I have uninstalled and re-installed both pdanet and active sync but nothing. When I cionnect my phone to the computer it and click 'connect usb' it says that pdanet is not running on the phone. As a matter of fact it won't even show up on my phones home screen when I turn it on. Is my version too old for windows 6.0? HELP!!
BTW, sorry to hog the thread but I'm using my q to access the forum and it doesn't let u search or star a new thread. Thanks

it allows you to tether your PC or laptop to use your phone's data connection for internet access on the computer. (without paying for a tethering plan)
