Disappointments

Hello all, I have had my Q for about 6 weeks and have a lot of questions and disappointmnents, I'd like to see if there are any suggestions to repair my woes:

1) can't cut and paste

2) when adding a tel number to an existing contact I have to scroll through all my ciontacts to find Smith, John

3) can't play .wmv video files, it only plays back the audio

4) can't create/use distribution lists for either email or text msg

5) can't set up recuring events in calendar that recur every 2 weeks

6) short cuts to programs are cumbersome, ie 2 digits, only the numeric keys, etc

7) can't watch CBS's shows from their website

8) the WM player won't play in full screen

9) 2.5 mm headphone jack makes it nearly impossible to find headphones for it

or orneta sissors (i think thats what its called)

2) when adding a tel number to an existing contact I have to scroll through all my ciontacts to find Smith, John

did you try to type the name?

3) can't play .wmv video files, it only plays back the audio

try TCPMP video player

4) can't create/use distribution lists for either email or text msg

try GroupSMS

5) can't set up recuring events in calendar that recur every 2 weeks

create the reoccuring events in outlook then sync the Q to it
or try out Papyrus or Extreme Agenda
these PIM programs overwrite the standard calendar app and make it more 'outlook' like

6) short cuts to programs are cumbersome, ie 2 digits, only the numeric keys, etc

so then create a speed dial for the apps you use most.
or install facade (a homescreen plugin) and create a launcher tab
OR if you have verizon you can use the verizon launcher homecsreen plugin

7) can't watch CBS's shows from their website

you can try slingbox, handitv or the TONS of other video watching option there are for the Q
search around a bit and you will find some

8) the WM player won't play in full screen

hit the right soft key and then 'fullscreen'
if it doesnt play full screen the its something with the video you have
my WM plays videos fullscreen without issue
and if you still have problems, again, try TCPMP

get an adapter

you have had your Q for 6 weeks and a member of this site im assuming for the same amount of time. alittle searching through here would have answered ALL of these items
nothing is flawless, and the Q isnt for everyone. there are always way around things with 3rd party apps
