Could someone please help me with step my step instruction on how to transfer my contacts from my krzr to my q. All the contacts on my q are backed up with backup assistant but i can get "get it now" on the q so what is the best and easiest way to transfer them.

send then via bluetooth to the Q. make sure both are in discovery mode and once they pair up start sending :-).....yes you may have to send them individualy
did you try Bluetooth...

how do i do it bluetooth? i am not rele inclined when it comes to phones, sad to say

i got them to link up and pair through bluetooth but it disconnects just a second or two after they pair up
How do i avoid this?
I was trying this on my razr, to transfer to my Q, it will see my Q, but like the problem you had, it cut off instantly..mine would stay "discoverable" for a min, then cut off, thus canceling the bt....i really dont want to have to reinstall all the hardware to hack my razr, but might be needed.

i found out that after is disconnects it is no big deal, just go to your contact and click send v card and it goes. problem with me is i have 400 contacts so it's allready been 2 hours but i am almost done
Two options....
One have the store do it for you, they will waive the ten dollar fee if its not for business use.
Use motorola phone tools to get the contacts off of the krazr. Then transfer them to the Q.
I wonder if Bitpim works with motorola's?
i know BitPim works with the Razr, i'm not sure if it would detect the Q.
