    Yahoo v. Google Search?

I would like to know how everybody chooses to search for stuff with their Q. Please indicate why you like your chosen search tool. I have Yahoo e-mail if that matters.

What about for searching people? Also, I loaded Google Maps on my Q. How does using Google's website and maps compare with using the Google Maps program on the Q?

I hate how google has that top and bottom bar when I view pages to try and condense the page. It will split one page into 5 pages.

google by far. WAAAAY too much ads on yahoo. i use gmail along with the adblock plus and customizegoogle extensions for Firefox, so my surfing experience using google is much cleaner and I don't have to view any ads.

now thats a whole other topic, google kills when it comes firefox, there are so many scripts (greasemonkey) or extensions,

I have kinda just felt that yahoo is just following google now

Google maps on the Q didnt impress me, I like windows live much better

Thats Crazy talk! Googlemaps is much faster (at least on my Q) and the Satelite detail for WLS isn't even close to GoogleMaps!

thats precisely why there is more then one service available :) I use WLS pretty much only for directions and searching for business. The layout of WLS having them on the start page just works for me. I havent really used the aerial maps yet

The directions on Google Maps (which is the program that resides on the Q) has the directions, point-by-point on a map which can be toggled to a sat. image. Am I correct that using Google's website for searching directions only produces a static map and a list of directions?
