XM Radio on your Moto Q

If you have an XM radio account, you can use your Q to listen to XM Radio. You'l need to request a login from XM for online access.
    • Point your browser to http://xstreamxm.com/mobile
    • Enter your login email and password
    • Select the channel (in my case, I love the BoneYard)
    • I selected High. If you experience buffering issues, you can try Low
    • Select Go and press the center of the nav
    • The Q will launch Windows Media player and start streaming XM Radio
There you go. Just logged in and listend to Skid Row's "Monkey Business" follwed by Danger Dangers "Monkey Business".

Nothing like 80's metal on a Q!:whistling Will add this to the Moto Q Knowledgebase.

Report back and let us know how you make out.

Not sure why I opted for XM - probably the MLB baseball. There are serious debates XM vs Sirius on AVS forums that I was checking out before I got XM.

The software works fine. The only problem is that you can’t see the whole screen when trying to log onto Sirius. After a few tries I was finally able to log on. Otherwise no problems once it’s up and running.

I doubt it. With the amount of money that Sirius is paying Howard, I don’t think they are willing to give anybody a chance to listen to Howard for free.

Cool. My favorite as well. Sirius and the Q make for a nice combo if you're a Howard fan.

Can anyone suggest a good utility to record streaming XM on a desktop computer? Thanks.

    Thanks for the info

    Thx Chris,
XM on Q is now my favorite thing. I also discovered that if you select either AUTOMATIC or HEADPHONE profile, you get a MUCH richer experience whne using XM with headphones. SWEET!
