The one on the right is loosely based upon the interface that MS uses for the Zune.

Either fake or real: MS got to work on the visual presentation of their mobile OS.

The given and documented skinning possibilities of MS are crap, except for the homescreen/today screen - and those are only acceptable with 3rd party plugins. The standard layout (glassy bars, oh, we are Vista-like, sooo cool) sucks anyway. Remember, it was HTC and not MS developing TouchFlo3D for example. It sucks what MS is putting up design-wise for their "really fast growing" mobile OS.

That's all. Not more, not less.

WM 6.5 is suppose to be based on the Zune interface. I read somewhere about a week or two ago that the plan was to somehow have the Zune marketplace be able to be accessed from a Windows mobile device. Although I dont see how you could that when all of the providers have their own music service.

    WOW!

    These are defiantly photoshopped.

I highly doubt M$ is going to use Apple's icons (the house, and the what looks to be application icon)

I have a 80GB Zune and a 80GB iPod. I like my Zune much better. Microsoft did a really good job this time out and the marketplace software.

What's up, RB? How you doing

I love the absence of the bars the most. I prefer two bars to one, but none gives the screen a very spacious look that I love. But the biggest improvement I want to see is WINDOW AND SELECTION TRANSITIONS. I love fluidity in displays, from fades to sliding panels to whatever. Even giving a fade to the backlight would make me happy.

Doing well. Took the summer off and traveled since my job moved to Mexico. Just went back to work for a new company and I'm doing well so far. Not much to do at work, so it gives my time to surf the site again
