so with the new "sliding panel" style home screens, are there still .xml file(s) involved ? being curious... did anyone try one on a WM5.0 Q ?

I was curious too, having WM5, but lost my curiosity once I read in the facade forum that u can't use facade in those.

WM6.1 works with homescreen xml files just as all the other WM systems before.
The "sliding panel" plugin is one single plugin that takes over the complete homescreen (can be compared to the Samsung i600 "Card Wheel" homescreen). You can of course run that plugin on WM5 if you have the dll and all necessary files that are used in the plugin.

There are XML's for the sliding panels.. Not sure if they will work on the WM5 phones or not but I guess you could try. I have tried editing them my self with no luck. So who knows

i wouldn't mind trying.. and i guess it's a matter of time before the "slide panel" plug-in will be available to the masses. i started -or at least had the intention to start- about 10 times today, but every time something comes up.. just for starters make something that looks like it, with the big clock, appointments (Facade) and message + profile..

    thanks boys & girls..

How do I make it where I can get the title bar back where the battery icon is and memory card are like at the bottom where the start and contacts are. Both should be solid color?
