With Android being so hot with them I am not surprised they arent jumping on board right away, let WP prove itself and then add them.

The good news for me is that this will keep me from buying a new phone at full price since my New Every Two doesn't run until next year and I don't plan to switch from Verizon! :)

Does Verizon do anything for customers mid-contract? I thought I remember them offering discounts on the Droid X for Droid 1 customers, which came out a year earlier.

I think you get a discount after a year and a half, maybe? It will be interesting to see when Verizon gives in to WM7.

Don't read too much into the stuff you're reading. Yesterday's phones were all ok, but was there one killer phone that stood out? Probably not. I'd bet Verizon goes big at CES with a killer WP7 phone. They'll skip being first and then go big.

You get an early upgrade (after 12 months), but I believe there are some prerequisite for that (e.g., you have to be on a certain price plan).
