That sucks :frown:. I just bought my Q9c last week, hopefully a port will be made if Verizon doesn't release 6.1 anytime soon.

Well how 6.1 has all those extra integrated features makes it look a lot better than 6.0 and my friend has 6.1 for sprint and he seems to enjoy it and hasnt complained. I know you can get all the features of 6.1 with other programs but its still not the same as having it built into the operating system.

I don't understand why so many people do complain about 6.1, I think its an upgrade. My phone has been flawless.

I think people just have problems in general for a few reasons, one of which is they just cram as much as they can fit into internal storage and that SLOWS the phone down. They also don't check the Task Manager and close down what they don't use. I installed everything that I could to my Storage Card. Internal memory is pretty much at the same capacity as it was when I went to 6.1 and I frequently check my Task manager and close down what I don't need. I've had 0 resets or reboots to my knowledge after updating with a fresh Master Reset.

To each their own, maybe smartphones aren't for everyone? Or at least Windows Mobile 6.1 isn't.

LOL, well two reasons why I wouldn't and can't:

    1. Sprint has terrible coverage where I live.
    2. My dad pays for the family plan.

in that case, make the best of what you have instead of "waste" time on "dreaming" about something that's not available (yet)...

It's funny how so many of us (myself included) get so entrenched into wanting/needing the latest and greatest updates/upgrades for our phones that for the most part have absolutely nothing to do with our Q9c's in regards to their ability being phones. Gotta love the toys... :)
