Windows Mobile 6.1 for Sprint Moto 9c ??

I saw that Windows Mobile 6.1 was available for download for the Verizon version of the 9c, but will it work on the Sprint 9c? Or is it specific to the Verizon model?

Does anyone know if the Sprint 9c has a upgrade to 6.1??

So, where is that download/upgrade available from????? I have the one that was announced on the main page of everythingq.com, and downloaded that.

    Is there something different?

I saw that we have created space shuttles that can go into outerspace. Does anyone know if we have landed on the moon yet?

Go to motorola.com and click on support and then find the spot that says upgrade software for your phone.

Then click on sprint and then the Q9c.
It will download the installer to your computer. Make sure you backup all of your contacts with activesync first cause you will lose ALL data...well, except the stuff on your SD card.

Once you get 6.1 up and running, you are definately going to want to download CHomeConfigurator. It allows you to create and change the sliding panels of your new homescreens. Just do a search on EQ here and you will find all the instructions on how to do it.

For me, it seems to just run smoother. I think a lot of the "behind the scenes" changes are the ones that are most appreciated.

You also have a new text messaging interface. It is called threaded messaging. It looks like an IM instead of a normal old text message. The sliding panels homescreens are amazing as well. Do a search on EQ and you can see what they look like.

threaded texting, the ever popular sliding panel home screen, the ability to set your home page (in PIE) without needing a registry edit. and some say the battery seems to last longer
