Yeah, I had the same confusion, but then found this article: http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2008/apr08/04-01EnterpriseMobilePR.mspx Which says WinMo 6.1 devices are coming out in 2Q, so the update would likely be around then, I would expect. The other nice thing is the original press article also mentions Motorola as a device supporter, though it seems like Q9C users would have to get the update from Sprint, right? At the very least it may mean that Moto could test it and give Sprint the thumbs up.

I was just going to post that WM 6.1 info for the Q9c had been posted on Engadget (http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/01/microsoft-announces-windows-mobile-6-1-device-upgrades/) but Sprint's official announcement makes it even better! Or worse, it could be an April Fool's day joke!!!
