Careful it isnt the pilot lite out and gas is coming out. Can it be fired up the old way, with a match. make sure their is no trapped gas.

Ooops, you said elelctric, you can still use a match

Another thing, when it gets cold out, spiders crawl in gas tubes and clog them. had some last year in my grill.

Kinda gives the burgers that extra zing ;)

  12. I am not going to even attempt a match.
Its a gas grill, but with an electric starter.
Cleaning mode works, but the electric starter prevents gas from entering the oven when it malfunctions or you lose power so as not to have a gas leak.

Thanks everyone....looks like its a 80.00 part and a 45.00 service call, if it ends up costing me 300 so be it. after the holidays, maybe I will surprise the wife and redo the kitchen

Hey Tony I know it may not help with the money, but just remember what rain brings in life; New life and growth. The weather may be wet/rainy/stormy now but with that comes bigger better and brighter things. Hope things get better soon for you guys!
