Straight from KC
Takes me back to the days I lived in 'the Burgh', walking into a bar and asking for an "Ahrn"....GO PENS!
I also like another Missouri Beer called Bud Lite
I'll take a Texas beer: Shiner Bock
I also love Blue Moon.
Unfortunately getting married has put a few pounds on me and I'm settling for Michelob Ultra at the moment in an attempt to regain my normally chiseled physique.
YUCK. Are you serious? You must have taste buds of steel to drink that stuff. I'm a Steelers fan and have been traveling up to Pittsburgh from DC for games 2 - 4 times a year for the past 8 years... and the first game I went to at Three Rivers, I ordered an Iron City. The vendor said, "Iron City? You sure?" I knew I was in for a treat.
You can't judge a beer by having it ONE time. For instance, when I was in college the first time I had a Heineken it tasted awful, wouldn't touch the stuff for years. Then I realized just how delicious it really is.
You must have had a bad batch or something, because generally it is great.
any beer can taste great after you've had a 12 pk of your beer of choice and you just want a beer of any kind!
Guinness...as my phone theme will show...
Sam Adams Summer Ale
I just discovered Summer Ale a couple of weeks ago. Great Beer!
I'v been drinking alot of Grolsch lately. Just bought a case last night.
My vote goes for Newcastle...
@shaun0207 - Hey, another person who spells Shaun correctly
Newcastle or the 'Berg...
Its the onely way to spell it in my book/:laugh2:
There's no way I can name a favorite, too damn many great beers out there. Also, timing and environment play a role in the preference. I usually drink Yuengling at home (economy/taste) Dinkelacker dark, when fresh (keg only) is hard to beat, Negro Modelo rocks, Stella Artois is my favorite "light" beer, Bass and Newcastle are right up there and the very best cheap beer that requires a lime has all of the best attributes 5.0% alcohol, light beer and 6 bucks for a twelve-pack "Southpaw Light"!
Smithwicks. Best beer ever!
In Prescott Arizona there is the Prescott Brewery and they make the best Porter I have ever tried. It's so heavy you have to chew it.
New Belgium Brewery's "Fat Tire", malty, hoppy + 20oz bottles; Bass; Killians in that order. When I was a young Marine it was quantity over quality, so Bud all the way; can't drink it anymore' tastes like wizz now.
Summertime during the Golf Season - Mich Golden
