    Voice Recognition Issue

I have a user with a Q9m from Verizon. He has 1900 contacts. When he activates voice command he gets the following error.

"out of memory, please delete some of your contacts"

This is strange to me. I have other users that have tons of contacts and this is not an issue.

Ive performed a hard reset and the issue still remains.

His device has plenty of memory available.

I imagine that the voice recog. program caches the contacts when activated. I have heard of this error on another forum from users with 800 contacts or so. Somewhere in the registry there is probably a cache size setting. As the other forum is run by Moto we aren't able to talk about reg edits, but you may be able to find something about it if you search.

I had about 1400 in my list but that mostly because they are in Outlook for years. I didn't run into that problem, but I thought that it might initialize faster if I had a smaller list so I archived about 750 last week. Doesn't seem to affect performance, about the same time to load so I don't think the number of contacts affects it.
