    not really an app...
sign up for the service then you dial a few prompts...
it intercepts your VM's and sends you an email and text with it written out
also you use a new number to retrieve your voicemails

The iPhone voicemail shows up as a list, with who it's from, and a snippet of what's in the voicemail. You can listen to the ones you want, and delete others right from the list.

Perhaps the most Michael Bay feature on the Phone.

You can read your voicemail without listening and delete the ones you don't want to listen to. In addition, you don't have to listen to the voicemail inorder (i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4...). Select the one you want and listen to that one.

And yes, Callwave does that exactly.

I know, I would call my phone and leave myself voicemails just to hear what callwave would come up with. Their voice recognition is not the best in the world.

I don't use it anymore though, since Sprint charges .20 everytime they forward a call. Sadists!!
