    !!!virus warning!!!again!!!maybe

hey you guys i've noticed a lot of posts lately about green screen freezes(phone freezes at the windows mobile 6.1 green screen after startup),and the resulting problems it causes, which I myself have been a victim. do you think it could be caused by the april first virus?

doubtful. While there have been a few windows mobile viruses (although in the past 6 years I haven't run into one) that particular one didn't target windows mobile.

No, It's people doing to much crap on the phone, in most cases. Keep it clean, use sktools and do things right and you wont have a problem. Check the web for any verified virus on a phone, you wont find one.

Interestingly enough, I heard a Verizon tech the other day stating that he thought a phone that came in with similar issues was caused by a new variant of Confickr. Since there's been zero news about that, I would tend to highly discount it, but it will only be a matter of time until virii go after mobile phones en masse. There have only been a few verifed phone viruses and they were back in 2004(ish) on Windows CE.

or perhaps he just fell in with the hype/ paranoia. much like the deal with the swine flu.

that being said, it's probably only a matter of time before we do really have to worry about viruses on WinMo.

*on a side note I just saw the lizard...*

You find it, LMK. I have heard alcohol will cause temporary relief. side effects may include, drowsiness, headache, nausea, impotence and blurred vision in some cases.
