viewing videos in the native browser

i was wondering if there was a way to view youtube/google/etc videos in my regular opera/ie browsers.

i have the youtube program that allows me to watch full videos, but i wanted to be able to watch videos as i browse. is this impossible?

So it would be safe to assume from your response that there are no hacks to either IE or Opera Mini that would allow for video viewing?

    And one question about Skyfire...

I signed up for Beta 2. I did a search of the EverythingQ Skyfire thread, but I ran out of patience, as it was over 90 pages long (much of which didn't seem to be pertinent). From what I read, people are still waiting to receive Skyfire? Was there an initial Beta release (ie Beta 1)? Is there a timeframe for the new Beta release? I saw that people have been waiting for 4+ months. Is that going to be the case with me?

    Thanks for your help!

possibly, Beta 2 isn't scheduled to start until everyone who signed up for Beta 1(up to march 1) has their copies, maybe sometime this summer.

think beta2 will be towards the end of summer.

Installing the you tube file will let you watch some, but not like on a pc/Skyfire

So does that mean that I am out of luck? Or is there some way for me to get Beta 1?

Yeah, I have the youtube file thing, but it would be nice to look at like on a pc/skyfire.

I really like Opera Mini. Have the reactions to Skyfire been better/worse than Opera Mini?

    its different...

Skyfire requires a lot of bandwidth & battery. 30min of web and you better look for a charger. If you have full signal on EVDO its pretty decent. Mini is much faster but doesn't do as much

Good to know. So this might mean that Opera would be an everyday kind of browser, while skyfire would be more of a special purpose browser?

i think alot of people view it like that for now
i use IE rather than opera and skyfire for more normal desktop like browsing when needed
