    Using a PAN network

Ok so I've got the PAN server running on my laptop and can join the PAN network with my Q9H. What can I use it for? Can I initiate a file copy from the Q9 to pull files from the laptop? Doesn't seem to be much documentation anywhere on PAN networks or what they're used for.

    TIA

Read through the Wikipedia page and it sounds like what bluetooth does in general. Another small description of PAN through BT is here.

I read through those articles before and they dont go into much detail.

Here's an example of what I want. The BT adapter shows up on the laptop with an IP address of 192.168.81.1. Does the q9 also have an IP address on it's end of the connection? If so how do I find out what it is? I could probably use the PAN for a host of things if I knew the IP addresses.

Not really sure where to find the IP address for the BT module in the Q. Bluetooth doesn't have anything.

If you want the IP address for your phone, maybe accessing http://whatismyip.com/ on your phone will help. But that's probably not the same thing.
