Do This On The Phone! No Pc Needed.....

    THIS IS THE EASIEST METHOD!

I don't know about the other Q's. I have the original, with Verizon service. I am a COMPLETE IDIOT when it comes to this phone. However, I was able to get YouTube by doing this ON THE PHONE ITSELF, NO PC NEEDED!

Pull up your internet. In the address bar, enter everything in this step by step method. It is Rudeboys steps. He helped me do this months ago.

    Rudeboys exact steps...

    (1) In PIE, pull up address bar. Type in:

    http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/tcpmp.smartphone.0.72rc1.cab

(Phone will ask: Install tcpmp smartphone cab? CLICK YES)

    (2) When that is installed, pull up PIE address bar, and type in:

    http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/FlashVideoBundle.CAB

(Again, when phone asks, click yes!)

Make sure you install both in the same location (if you install TCPMP on the storage card, you also need to install the FlashVideoBundle there, they need to be either both on the device, or both on the strorage card)

    (3) Power down Q, power up Q.

    (4) Done.

Make sure when you try to view Youtube videos, you are not in the mobile site. Scroll to bottom of page and click on full view (or something like that...)

    Good Luck!

Not a free option, but Core Player works great with wm 6.1 and youtube.

So if I purchase Core Player, I can play flash videos from YouTube on a Q9c running Windows Mobile 6.1? No more need for the FlashVideoBundle program?

Are there any other advantages to Core Player? (Does it sound better, offer more options, have a better UI, etc)

Yes, CorePlayer has a built in youtube interface (top rated videos, youtube search, etc) without having to leave the app at all. Just set the "Network" settings to "FLV Medium" for youtube instead of the default.

CP also has a media library view (similar to WMP). As for the rest I can't comment too much about TCPMP differences because I haven't used it in a while. There are definitely a lot of options in the app.

I'm guessing that you are using the YouTube mobile page, which will work with PIE and Windows Media Player.

The others are referring to a work-around using TCPMP and a program called Flash Video Bundle that would allow you to view the full desktop version of the YouTube web page on your Q.
The quality of the video playback on the mobile site can not compare, and the Flash Video Bundle also allowed the option of saving the videos to your Q.

I'm pretty certain that if you used PIE to go to www.YouTube.com, and then clicked on the "DESKTOP VERSION" link at the bottom of the screen that warns about intense data usage, you will see that your Q can not run the regular desktop flash videos.

I too was able to view before the update. When I try now with the files installed, I goto youtube.com and I get a crash error.

I use the Flash Video Bundle and had no problems until the update. Now it will not start in TCPMP. what is the fix for this?

Ok I understand now. Are there only a limited amount of videos to view when using the mobile site?
