Unable to play specific WAV file

Our corporate phone systems sends our voicemails to us in WAV format but while I can play it on my PC I can't play it on my phone. As I say it's a .wav file but when I look at the properties the Audio Format is IMA ADPCM.

Is there any way I can get Mobile WMP to play this file as I don't really want to load TCPMP just for playing my voicemail files!

I receive via email so when I'm not at my desk and I receive them on my phone I want to be able to listen to them on my phone too.

I had the same problem . . . installed TCPMP. Works great. Would not automatically play the files though, WMP still tried. Edit the following key and TCPMP will automatically play the wav files.

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\wavfile\Shell\Open\Command

    Change "Default" = "\Program Files\TCPMP\player.exe" "%1"

Obviously this needs to point to the TCPMP EXE.

or maybe within TCPMP select the file association you want TCPMP to play? Or are you saying this didn't work?
