    um... the honeymoons over?

Had mine about a week. loved it, til now. I suddenly can't make calls (basically, the most basic use of a cell phone.) despite plenty of bars, it keeps saying "operation failed"? I've turned it off and on many times. Is this common. Am I sending this thing back?

will i lose all my info?

also, i synced up my q with my pc for the first time today. outlook asked for - no, demanded - i supply phone info. i ultimately put 917 as my area code. i haven;t placed a call since. did outlook/sync muck up my phone dialing somehow maybe?

    UPDATE:

after a master reset, and everything else with verizon tech support, the answer is to bring it back in and exchange it for another one. Has anyone else had this problem?? How dodgy are these f'ing things??!!

Not to make an excuse for motorola/verizon but this is somewhat new technology for a smartphone, Its bound to have its bugs and bumps in the road. Im sure your replacement phone will be fine. Good Luck!
