We have Sonic's galore here in SC. In fact my son's both worked for Sonic's and my grandson's mother works there.

I love the cheese sticks w/ a Route 44 cherry limeaid w/ extra cherries.

Never been to a Sonic before, and I think I've only seen one in my entire life.

Yes A&W is something I grew up with. Frosty mugs and root beer floats yummy. Ours back then had a round operable fire place. Looong gone since the early 80s. Now there is one is St Helena that was not near as atmospheric still good but lost its appeal when it merged with KFC. Next closets one is in Marin. BTW back in my day A&W had car hops at the ones with drive in service. Why are there still no male car hops????

Here they combine A&W Rootbeer w/KFC.
  14. Yes my firm has designed a few.
They are owned by the company that owns Taco Bell and KFC.
The A&W are now re-appearing attached to KFC's

I tried a LJS after about 20yrs of not going for whatever reason. And IMO it was probably the worst food i have had in a very long time...ugh!
Even my 10yr old hated it. That fried food is just bad...lol. Learned my lesson.
