Trouble with copying the pim file..."there has been a sharing violation"

So my Q9m developed a couple of big black dots on the screen for some reason, so I went and had my brand new fresh out of the box Q9c flashed over to MetroPCS.

I thought ahead and copied the pim.vol file out of the M before doing all this, but when I try to paste the file into my new C, I get the "sharing violation" error.

I dont want to delete the existing pim.vol file out of my new phone for fear that if it doesn't work I'll have totally screwed myself.

    So what do I do?

Feel free to call me at <removed phone number> if you want to walk me through it,or send a text or leave a vmail or whatever.

    Thanks ahead of time.

    Hoss

You will need a third party file explorer ....Resco,Total Commander or other to re-name the old, copy the saved and delete the renamed pim.vol...

I have used “Long Path Tool” in this situation and it helped me easily and quickly.
