    trapster

    Hey Guys,

I did a search for trapster but nothing came up. Is anyone using trapster with their q9h? I installed the app on my phone but it doesn't work. I can't even exit the application after trying to login to the network. I have to do a reset to close it. Anyone..?

For those of us who don't know, and in the interest of having a description to go along with the title of the thread, what is Trapster ????

Agreed, what the hell is it? Why is that everyone assumes that just because you know what you are referring to, everyone else is magically reading your mind too.

    Google came up with this...

    WELCOME TO TRAPSTER®

When you see a trap, report it by pressing a button on your phone, or calling a toll free number. Other user's phones will alert them as they approach the trap. Trapster® learns the credibility of traps based on how many users agree. It also learns the credibility of each user, over time. Trapster® works on any mobile phone, and also other devices like PDAs, navigation systems, and laptop computers!

View or submit speed traps in your area

Registered users: To report traps, double click map, and then drag marker to correct location. Not a registered user? Sign up today for your free Trapster® account and access downloadable notification software for your cell phone to report traps while you are out and be alerted to traps in your area.

    I don't think it's just you. Trapster didn't behave nicely on my AT&TMotorola Q Global (Q9H), so I un-installed it.

Unless you are a champion speed walker and its the beginning of the month and the cops need to fill quota and they give you a bogus ticket just to get you to go to court and waste time fighting it or just give up and pay the fucking thing. Oh well, still useless.

And we love you for it. Or at least me anyway, saved me the trouble of "gasp", [whisper]searching[/whisper] (hiding from Rudeboy and Hockey) :laugh2:

Seriously though, not everyone knew what the OP was talking about, and well, if he comes to the board asking for help, don't you think you might entice actually getting help by not making the people you're asking look it up, figure out what it does, etc ????

But then again, thats just me. I try to be as thorough as I can when I make a topic asking for help, so the person knows exactly what I'm trying to do, and with what apps and such. Maybe thats why I never get many replies, too specific....

:frown: (goes and sulks in corner)

All I did was ask if anyone was using trapster to see if they were having the same problem I was. If someone is using it and responds, there is no need for an explanation of it. If you don't know what it is but are curious look it up, how lazy are you people. I wasn't interested in people that didn't know what it was or explaining the whole thing to everyone, if people are curious about it they can go find stuff out themselves.

At least one person responded to what I asked.
