    Google Maps
Mundu IM--but now Octro because it's free
    PHM Registry Editor
TCPMP--that was until it stopped working with Youtube this week.

    Question???

I haven't been apart of this thread in awhile, so I am about to unsubscribe. Before I do, Scott can you give me the install instructions for Doom, it didn't work properly when I tried. Also, I just got the application "Pocket Launcher" from Conduits.com, you might want to check it out. Thanks

I'm not sure exactly, but on the Q, it says gnuboy. I get my roms for it at www.emuparidise.com. I may be able to provide a link if you want it. It works flawlessly for my needs anyway. Great sound and it's not choppy at all.

This should be the link. It's from the freeware website for pda's. I'm pretty sure that this is the place I got if from.

I'll have to check and see. I know whatever the installation method was, it was pretty simple whether it installed from the download or I added it from my home pc. Sorry my info is limited, I got it a while ago.

Ok cool. I also have a question. How long does a PDAnet trial usually last? Because I downloaded a version of it for free but the site i got it from doesnt specify that its a trial (at least I didnt see it anywhere) but when i look at the produt description from my phone it hs trial next to it.

    HomeScreenBuilder!

This app is awesome. Allows you to build custom home screens. Very intuitive and easy to use. HomeScreenBuilder is an app which you download onto your PC, where you do all the creation. Creates a .cab file, which you install on the Q, and voila!

I found this program through a link on this forum..I forget where.

    is this the madbeetle one?
    www.madbeetle.com

side note becareful...the screen rotates itself so you have to in and edit the xml file prior to installing on the Q...also the icon bar with the battery meter doesnt stay transparent after the program so you have to edit that too

yup, that's it. The Madbeetle program.

when you say the screen rotates itself, do you mean how the 320X240 Setup doesn't stick? I encountered that problem when I tried to edit an existing home file. It seemed to stick if you:
    1. create a new working folder
    2. start from scratch, and create a new home file in the working folder.

All subsequent saves seem to stick as well

As far as the battery indicator transparency, it seems to be fine for the one home screen I created so far. Knock on wood.

I love this program because it's free, and allows me to get rid of any clutter I don't particularly care for.
