ok I got pocketsnes but when I open it it freezes
this is a thread to post favorite apps
if you have questions about the apps please post them in the the threads specific to that app as to not clutter up this thread
Right now I'm really loving AgendaOne, SmartphoneNotes and CodeWallet. AgendaOne integrates the other two into it's view picker, so it feels nice and integrated. I also love the customizability of colors and font sizes in AgendaOne. I'm also using iFitOne to track my diet and excercise.
What I'd really like is some improvement on the reminder functionality in WM. I was used to the great notification manager in Palm OS, without that I miss appointments if I don't hear them. I'm working around it by using a very long midi for the alarm sound (a day in the life by the Beatles ). I tried Don'tForget but it doesn't seem to do the job for me. Any suggestions?
I tried to get all my useful programs on my apps page. There are probably more.
I've only had my Q for about 2.5 months (funny, it's an OLD phone!) but I'd have to say here's my favorite apps thus far:
Skyfire - a little slow and arrow placement is hit&miss but otherwise a great Windows Mobile browser.
Opera Mini - When speed matters! I really like this one too.
Netflix App - Great for updating my DVD and also my Instant View queues from my phone
MS Live Search - A few little bugs when updating your From/To (sometimes it won't let you put in a new address for some reason), but I think it works great when I'm on the road searching for a particular business in the area. The voice recognition works GREAT for me.
Palringo- So far, the best IM I've tried.. I've also tried AIM Mobile, Nimbuzz, and Fring.. None are as nice looking.. All they need now is emoticons, I think.
Dashwire- Great for backing up phone data, and texting from a PC instead of your phone (when needed).. No complaints! Works as advertised so far.
I just downloaded Dashwire, I must say this is the greatest thing I have seen in my entire life... Absolutely love this.
it is a great ap for sure...but you need to get out more :tounge:
enthusiasm is awesome!
Anyone know of any free apps for the following :
any games, other than emulators
encrypting files (like photos/videos)
all for the original Q (WM5)
Thanks if you can help!
Hello everybody, i´m new here, but i have some experience with WM devices, i have in my Moto Q11:
- Smart Calc (Basic Calc)
- Astraware Boardgames (Checkers, Chess, Ludo)
- Astraware Sudoku (just nice ¡¡¡)
- All Mobile Mines (Like mineswepper but free)
- CoreCodec CorePlayer (Like TCMCP i guess)
- DivX Player
- Mobile Monopoly World (game)
- Garmin Mobile XT (for ruteable navigation using GPS - not free)
- Google Maps
- Nine Hole Golf (free game)
- SolovoEd 7 Dictionary (Incredible database, recommended)
- HiCalc for MotoQ (trial)
- RealDice MC Poker
- Resco Explorer (Excellent)
- SKTools Lite ((keep my moto smooth)
- Boxy V2 (Like the old sokoban on DOS)
I think it is really hard to choose only one favorite Motorola Q application but my favorite Motorola Q applications are Flex Wallet, facade,Google maps and mobsync. I think we all like these applications. Thank you friends for your different opinions.
do you use MobSync instead of the ActiveSync? whats the difference? is this a freeware program?
how about this FlexWallet... what do you keep in it? again, freeware?
MobSync is only for files, Active Sync is for Emails, Calendar and Contacts.
FlexWallet now known as eWallet, stores secure information, IE; Site Passwords, Credit Card Info, or anything else you want to keep secure but have access to real quick.
Used them both and they both worked real well.
