Time for #2 already

    It seems like anything relating to sounds at all locks the phone up for a bit. Even inside a contact.. If I scroll PAST the custom ringtone setting. Not click it, but scroll past it.. My phone locks up for about 5 minutes and continues to run very slow for a good 5 minutes after that before getting back to normal

    Like just now. I typed a 4 word text message and the words that I typed took just over a minute to show up on the screen

    So in addition to the previous problems stated. This phone restarts all the time on it's own, locks up to where I have to pull the battery, email will NOT work no matter what I do, and a few other random oddities.

    I am currently waiting for my new Q to arrive and after reading your post, Im starting to worry if my phone will be like that.. Which provider do you have, Sprint or Verizon?

    i wouldnt worry...sometimes you just get a rotten bunch...
    this isnt what everyone deals with...

    i have had my phone since feb without any issue...
    its been said before here...but people dont post about how happy they are and how they are having zero issues with there phone...people who do have problems post to see if they can get it fixed or have questions regarding other things...so i wouldnt really worry...

    I've got Sprint. My repair place is good about getting me replacements but Sprint themselves are pissing me off. My first Q I had for about 48hrs before it died on me and I've had refurbs ever since. Spring wouldn't send me a new one.

    you mean Sprint? I'd be pissed if that happened to me.. hope it doesnt lol. thanks for the info

    yea, Sprint.

    As soon as my first one died I called them and they wouldn't send me a new replacement. They made me go to the repair center where I recieved a refurb. It's now about 2 months later and I'm on my 4th phone so I called Sprint to see if I could get a NEW Q since I've never owned one and they tell me if I would have called in the first 30 days that wouldn't be a problem!

    i know with vzw you can add the insurance up to 15 days after your purchase

    I am having the same problem with motorola. I was on the phone today for 2 hours. I am on a land line too and I kept getting transfered, disconnected, etc... It is VERY anoying. I finally got to someone and I had to keep reexplaining the story. But he said I would have to send my phone in and wait 2 weeks. I told him I wanted a replacment first then I would sent it out (express door to door). He said they cant do that (even the sprint told me I could). Ive called about 5 other sprint service centers and no one has replacment qs in stock.
    I think im going to kill motorola.

    Got the new one today. So far it's perfect. This may be the one :)
