Time for #2 already
Well, my brand new Q isn't working right already. Got #2 on the way:angry:
thats a shame....good luck with the new one!
I love the phone. I hope the new one works better!
You know, with me getting TWO bad ones at the same time, it's really starting to sound like maybe a bad batch, etc.
That's what I've been suggesting, since I've registered here. However, I haven't had any issues with mine.
What problems did you have?
Mine was not real bad, but my wife's phone locking up while dialing several times a day (mine once o day), phone shutting off (wife's only). All of these even after a hard install of WM5.
Mine locked up on the way to the sprint store, so I took that as a sign.
Damn, that sucks. Mine functions properly for the most part. The only issues I'm having is sometimes it'll decide not to charge. I'll plug it in and it tells me it's charging... Yet it'll never charge. I can let it sit all night on the charger, unplug it in the morning and the phone is dead as a rock.
If you are heading into the store with your old Q, try a different battery at the store (if they let you) so you can rule out the fact of a faulty battery or not while you are already at the store (kills 2 birds w/1 stone)
Got the new phone today. It's much better
good to hear....
hope it continues!
Great....... #2 is already having the same issues as the first one.
#3 on the way
Do the Sprint software update that just came out today.
Ooh, I didn't see that. It won't fix my problem but still good to know
Is there another thread about this? I don't see one
well.. Whats your problem?
from what i found out it fixes the "phone going to bootloader" issue.
give the update a try.
Loading it now. My new issue is that my keypad doesn't work half the time though
Great. That did a restore of my phone and I'm now back to stock. Argh.
Just picked up #3. Wish me luck
Doing the MOL3 update as I type this.
So far #3 freezes everytime I try to get into the 'Sounds' settings
