Agreed, this is where we are to send all n00bs from now on....Now please make one for installing TCPMP and the thumbwheel volume issue and we are set!

    Good job on the video.

Sorry to say, but the constant typing errors and correcting makes me want to stab the screen.

    Otherwise, good job Wink

great job on the video....I could've used this last week, lol

I am a little tech savvy so was able to figure it out though.

Two questions though....If you export as a mp3 rather than a wav, wouldn't it take less space on the Q? Also, is there a way to make the ringer and email it to a Q as an attachment and then save that attachment in sounds? (I understand it's easier to do via active sync, but my wife is trying to decide if she wants to sync to her work laptop because she doesn't want all of the work contacts on her personal phone.....working on the issue, just haven't made a decision yet)

    Thanks in advance

If you're with verizon, goto www.vzwpix.com and sign up for a free acount.

Using this email address, your10digitnumber@vzwpix.com, send a regular email with the ringtone as an attachment.

You'll then receive a MMS and you can save the ringer to you phone. Even though it's designed to send pics to your phone, sound files work too! No need to use activesync :).

I am not positive about MP3's I am understanding that it will work but I am not sure if MP3 is the proper format. Its diffently worth a try. As for you second part I cant see that being a problem as long as you have a Email adress set up on your Q or as a test to 10digit#@provider.com. (If you are going to do it as a email I would double check the foprmat of the text message adress first.
