"The settings could not be opened"

My alarm suddenly stopped working so I go to check it out and it says the settings could not be opened. What can I do?

my alarm has been unreliable. I have to set it by changing it 1 minute every night to make sure it goes off in the morning.

Are you sure you don't also have other issues with your phone that maybe causing this ? Like low memory or a long time since your last master reset.
These Q's need to be well maintained to perform at thier best.
    just my 2 cents :)

    alarm won't work & can't change time

A couple weeks back it gave me a critical low memory message, so I dumped the internet temp files. Since about that time the alarm is set but won't go off and when I go to change it, it just says 'the settings could not be opened'. Is there a way to trick it into letting me get in there or what about this reset thing? How does that work and what do I lose?

Master reset restores your phone to the way it came from the factory. Fairly drastic. There may be other things to try. The low memory warning is a bad thing. Try removing programs or files you don't need.
