Tethering Stopped Working with Mac OSX 10.4.11 I've been successfully using my Verizon Motorola Q as a tethered modem with my PowerBook G4, Mac OSX 10.2.8, using a USB cable, and with my MacBook Intel, Mac OSX 10.4.10, using Bluetooth. I recently downloaded a freeware text editor on the Q, and a new home-screen scheme, but I don't know why those would affect tethering. However, I also upgraded the MacBook to OSX 10.4.11 (from 10.4.10). Now, the MacBook won't connect to the Q; the Bluetooth Setup Assistant hangs on the first "Gathering more information about your phone" screen, and if I try browsing the phone, the phone asks me to enter a pairing Passkey, but the Mac doesn't display a Passkey so I don't know what to enter. :frown: (The PowerBook still tethers fine via USB cable.) Any suggestions? Also, has anyone tried getting Apple "Genius Bar" help on such an issue? I'm worried Apple will tell me to talk to Verizon and Verizon will tell me to talk to Apple.
