TCPMP Will not load, Produces crash.txt

I just installed the TCPMP core player, and it will not run! Ran fine on my standard Q with windows mobile 5... will not work on the Q9c. After the program starts to run it says:

"Unexpected program failure. Please send "crash.txt" to the developers. Program will now exit."

It then places a crash.txt file in my My Documents folder with a bunch of info in it. If anyone knows how to read these, I will paste it here, but it is a lot of info...

Thanks for pointing me there, it actually worked (didn't try any of the Youtube stuff but at least the actual player works and doesn't crash).

Yes, I knew that even before posting. I just got my Q 3 days ago, with Windows 6.1 and still got the same issues with TCPMP crashing even when i installed the re-compiled version. As state in my post, installing the Flashbundle on the DEVICE rather than SD is what solved my problems. I just wonder how or why it works in contrast to installing onto the SD?

I have a WM6.1 Q9h (ATT) and downloaded the latest TCPMP files but regardless if I install to Storage Card or internal memory it crashes when launched.

    Any additional tips?

sounds like maybe you didnt install the "special" 6.1 tcmp onto your device...and dont even try installing to sd. check the post to get the right downloads for 6.1..make sure you check flv in file associations...reboot.

Still no luck. I have TCPMP 72RC1 (702350 bytes in the .cab) and FlashVideoBundle 1.4.4 (815704 bytes) installed to the device. As far as I can tell these should be the right files for WM 6.1.

That did it. The key is to avoid the smartphone .cab and install the PPC version. Now I have to figure out how to use it!

Edit: Don't forget to push the d-pad center button for play. Otherwise it just sits there. Doh!
