    Im going off of the "Earpiece Volume" screen (easiest to check quickly) and I found that this: <color name="COLOR_ALERTWINDOW" value="#FF0000"/> changes the color of the background of the bar...still searching..ok...here we go...this:<color name="COLOR_ALERTTITLE" value="#003300"/> changes the color of the TEXT IN THE TOP OF THE WINDOW...ie Info, Earpiece Volume, etc...the text below can not be changed..i have not found anyway to get the bottom text to change...hope this helps and sorry for the bad news

    Send me a PM when there's a post I should look at (found this thread by accident). I'm not reading whole EQ, just Homescreen and Software sub-forum, sometimes (very rarely) a few other sub-forums...

    I see you already tested quite a few values... I somehow think those could help:

    <color name="COLOR_ALERTWINDOW" value="#FFFFFF"/>
    <color name="COLOR_ALERTTITLE" value="#000000"/>
    <color name="COLOR_ALERTRULE" value="#000000"/>

    Window for the background, title for the title, rule for the main text (and the volume bar for example).

    If you didn't get a respone by cgibin... I got him here on MSN I think, so I can ask him if needed.

    ill make sure i do that if i think you might know the answer!
    i think i might have gotten it...i think the codes were inverted so it wasnt showing up right...the volume one works...rebooting now to test out the call screen and others!!

    ok so i changed my settings to this:

    <color name="COLOR_ALERTWINDOW" value="#000000"/>
    <color name="COLOR_ALERTTITLE" value="#FFFFFF"/>
    <color name="COLOR_ALERTRULE" value="#FFFFFF"/>

    still not quite right
    volume is perfect...
    in call screen everything is black
    the system message title is white but the text below is black...
    i tried to make them all 'FFFFFF' or all '000000' and still nothing
    i have rebooted and refreshed the screen :frown:
    soooooooooo close!

    the Windows folder on the Q.. find it with a File Manager, no need to mess in the registry.. it's just replacing screens.

    Hmmm... seems like there are a few hard coded settings...
    I remember that all that stuff worked fine with WM2003 ... yeah, WM2003 was a real good-working system ... :tounge:
