    Sync problem

I love my new Q but am having problems with sync-ing. When I update a file on my PC (excel file) and sync it works fine. But when I update on my Q and sync it deletes the file from the PC. The file is actually updated it just goes straight to the recycle bin. Any ideas how to fix this?

OK, so if I edit the file on my Q and sync it will delete the file on my PC. If I disconnect and reconnect it (simply pushing the sync button again doesn't work) it will put the updated file back in my PC . There has to be a better way that will allow me to sync my files without necessitating this double sync. Someone please help this is driving me nuts!

I didn't think ActiveSync would allow you to sync files between your PC and Q....

According to the info on the help function of Activesync you should be able to sync files. When you select what types of info you want to sync if you select files as one of your options it installs a sync folder on your desktop. Whatever files are in that folder are supposed to be sync-ed between devices. As I indicated, I can get it to 'work' but have to double sync it for the file to update properly on my PC. I'm sure there has to be a fix for this problem within Activesync. However, if I were to try Mobsync should I unistall Activesync to avoid complications? Is Mobsync a pretty good app? Thanks for any help.

No keep activesync. Mobsync works in conjunction with AS and sets up jobs to sync specific file or folders.

I found this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838793) which describes my problem and a fix but its way over my head. If someone could interpret this for me and tell my how to fix the problem that would be great. I'll look into Mobsync but would still like to fix the problem with Activesync (just frustrated that I can't get it to function properly). Thanks again.

    Thanks

Mobsync works great. Disregard the issue with ActiveSync. Thanks for the help everyone.
