    Streaming radio

I logged into my Yahoo account and tried to get my music stations to play - no luck. Has anyone found a good site for streaming radio or music for mobiles?

You can also try Radio4PDA in which you can stream many of your favorite regional or national broadcast stations.

This might be a dumb question but I am getting more an more amazed by what this phone can do. If I get sirius to work on my phone, or use the ones mentioned above, does it use a lot of kb's to listen. Im on pay as you go and it would probably run the bill if it does. thanks

    radio4pda

This radio4pda website linked above is awesome and works like a charm. I can't stream on my work PC and the radio in my office has its bad days to say the least.

Now I can just listen over the phone with greater clarity. Nice. Thanks!

    mp3 player

I have been using Radio4PDA for awhile. I have been having some trouble listening to CBS Radio stations using Stream The World format. When you click on the station, you get a message that the station is supposed to be streaming in mp3 format. I tried using TCPMP player, but I get an Unknown File Format error. I downloaded a trial copy of Pocket Player, and I can listen using this software.

I was wondering if anyone has found a way to listen to these with a free player.

    Ok quick question ,

so i went to radio4pda this morning at work and started listening to a morning talk show it was amazing. very funny and it was awesome to hear something other than the lame radio stations here in town..

BUT about 2 hours later my battery was gone! i was like WTF you have got to be kidding me. i've been at wokr 2 hours and i seriously had to turn my phone off.

is this normal? does streaming radio really drain the battery that much? i had a full charge on my factory battery.

now when i get home in charge with a USB from my comp so my plug is sitting here at home collecting dust. I can take the plug and use it at work and listen to radio all day but does that have a negarive affect on my Q life or the battery ? i also notice that the back of my Q gets hot to the touch when i stream radio. anything i need to worry about?

Now my phone shows that the radio4pda site is blocked. whats the alternative? Or does Verizon have us cornered?

I tried this morning. I was able to get on the site and listen to some streams. I am with Sprint, so I am not sure if your issue is being caused by Verizon. I would try again.

I was under the impression that is was against Verizon's policies to stream with their data plans.
