Sprint Q9c complete theme, first draft So I'm trying to make a total theme for my Sprint Q9c with WM, loosely based off the FreddyReyes.com ones which don't work properly on a landscape phone. I'm really only doing this for myself, but I figured I'd post it here in case anyone else is interested. It still needs a little bit of work, but I thought I'd share what I have so far. I think its pretty good for basically my first time using GIMP. Read the whole post if you want to try this on your device. Screenshots: First of all... no guarantees that I'll actually finish it. Secondly, this does overwrite files in the Windows directory, so please, make a backup first (though they are all ROM files and by deleting the files in the Windows directory it should revert back to the ROM ones, no promises). Finally, this overwrites Sprint specific files, so it won't work on the Verizon q9c without a little bit of work (which I don't plan on doing, but all you have to do is figure out the correct file names.) I also have a couple questions, not sure if anyone knows the answer to them but I thought I'd toss this out there anyway. 1. Does anyone know how to add a background to recent programs? I tried a few things in the registry but none of them seemed to do it. 2. I know its possible to add a background to the dialer itself, but I couldn't quite figure out how to do that either, so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. So now for whats finished and not finished: callalert- Done call in progress- Done Incoming calls- Done info- Draft (Needs white box to be made bigger) yell- Draft (Needs white box to be made bigger) question- Draft (Needs white box to be made bigger) volume- Draft (needs slight tweaking to make it fit in the box better) start menu- Draft (Needs to be lighter so highlighted icon stands out more) Power Off- Draft Power On- Well, I changed the file of this one, but as it turns out, you never even see that file when you turn it on, it instead uses a different animated file. Not sure I'll be able to fix this but I might attempt to... This is also a draft Sprint_banner- It was going to just be the first draft but I think it looks pretty good on the device. To install: http://www.mediafire.com/?zxstbyveymd Copy the pictures in the posted zip to the Windows directory, making sure to overwrite the originals. If you've already changed your start menu background, then you need to change it back to Windows\BatwingWM.gif The homescreen is not touched at all in this, and comes as is upon installing CHome Weather.
