I discovered something with WP7 and bluetooth that I have not seen posted anywhere else. The bluetooth stack on WP7 supports SMS over bluetooth. It works with both Microsoft Sync in my friends Fusion and with my Kenwood DDX616 in my truck. This is the first device I have had that supports this function. I have previously tried an iPhone, Blackberry Storm, Motorola Backflip, Motorola Droid, Samsung Captivate, and Sony Xperia X10.

I just wanted to share this with anyone who really cares! :)

Hey, someone who has more phones than I do. :D

Fusion has some really cool technology built it. I watched a demo the other day on the Ford site.

What exactly is SMS over Bluetooth? Does that mean messages transfer to the car via Bluetooth when they come in on the phone?

That is exactly what it means. You can send canned replies from Sync too. In the case of my Kenwood system, you can even type on the screen via on screen qwerty (but, why would you?).
