lets see how they hold up to all the traffic. Good idea though if they work and are practical.

It's too good of an idea to be allowed to happen.

imagine the carnage if you tried to mobilize an Armored or Heavy Mechanized Division on one of those. I don't imagine it would hold up too well to an Abrams MBT (let alone an entire Brigade or Division)...

on a more practical note.. Solar pannels need to be clean to work efficiantly. Imagine how much windex & paper towels they would go thru! How would that help the environment?

it would keep the chain gangs busy though. I wonder how handling would be in the winter on those...

This might even translate into lighter hauls for truck drivers? This might affect our buddy Mike...

    Speaking of Mike....

They could use one of those Zamboni looking things they use at my plant to sweep up the floors and retro fit it with swiffer wet pads.

but then lighter hauls would mean more total trucks on the road

I guess there's a lot that still needs to be thought out

That would be nice! They have a saying in the industry. We don't ship air.

Drop a 350 under the hood & a sirrius radio and I will be a street sweeping mofo. :)

If this does get implemented, how long do you think before someone hacks into it and display a giant phallus on the road? LOL That was one of the comments in the article. :dft011:tounge_out
