Same here, just my sound and volume
Damn... I am pretty sure it's RINGO. I'll uninstall RINGO and try then... Tat figures, RINGO is my #1 app on my Q, and SMS Bubbles would be my #2... I guess it was never meant to be...
If anyone is bored, and installs RINGO, let me know if you experience issues...
what is ringo
I just ran across this version of SMS Bubbles - different file size... seems to work the same? Any thoughts:
RINGO is an app that lets you assign custom tones to sms and calls for each contact www.ringomo.com
You could try Oldsap Oist...does the same thing, only it doesn't cost $25. Well, it does individual SMS tones... custome ringers you can do by default. I haven't got around to installing SMS Bubbles yet to see if there is a problem running both, but no problems running it with iText.
Just a thought...
Thanks for that -- I have played with that in the past - perhaps i'll try it again.
Ya know, i installed Itext on my phone -- and it didn't really do anything. I could only get it to work, if i ran the itext exe file, and send a message to the phone while the itext screen was in the foreground. After that, i would send messages, and nothing would pop up or anything....
No problem at all.
iText does have to be running in the background for it to work. It shouldn't have to be displayed in the foreground (at least on mine). I simply launch the program and hit done on the initial screen. It then intercepts every text and displays it. But I'm sure it's not near as far along as SMS Bubbles...
I have Ringo too and my tones are kinda wonky with the sms bubbles but not enough for me to stop using the app. I like being able to read the text without going to it.
Even if my phone is locked I am able to hit the SaveRead or dismiss button and the bubble goes away. Are you still have that problem with your phone.
i will discuss this with the developer.... i first need to check out the workings of Ringo.
(fyi: the developer is working on other apps and may not jump on this issue right away.)
Thank rudeboy for running interference! Like I said it's kinda wonky but I like the app so it's a keeper for me either way. Plus it's was free!
yeah still have the problem with my phone locked, but I also have more than 1 unread message so...
Even if I have several unread messages I can press the button when my phone is locked and the bubble will go away. So I don't think the issue is how many unread messages you have.
oh well then I see a problem!!!
my phone is locked, I have a few (80) unread texts... and the left softkey doesn't work... I personally the left softkey allow me to unlock and the right can stay at "dismiss"
i love this little freebie!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah it has a few little quirks but
and c)its just fun!
chris@birdsoft maybe you could add some of this to xtext!
not bashing, suggesting

Just happened on this thread and installed. I love this little program! Saves so much button-pushing! Thanks!
Thanks for "stumbling across" this neat program. Quickly becoming one of my favorite apps!
