    Smartphone Notes Bug

I installed Smartphone notes and it has a strange bug for me.

The program loads fine and syncs fine. The issue I am having is that the letter search is not working properly. I have a note with every letter of the alphabet loaded into notes. I try each of the 26 letters and some work and the following don't:

    b - No matches; h - shows entries beginning with "w"; i - does nothing; j - shows entries beginning with "s"; k - does nothing; l - shows "e"; m - does nothing; n - does nothing; o - shows no match; p - does nothing; q - shows "no match"; t - shows "c"; u - does nothing; v - does nothing; y - shows "no match".

Keep in mind the "no match" does have files starting with that letter. Anyone else having this problem?

Sorry, it worked fine on my Q1 also. Once I switched to the Q9c I had the problem explained above. Someone try it on a Q9c please.

    Developer Response

I received a response from the developer. They are working on a fix. Here is the response.

    "Marc,

we have been informed of this issue with some USA version of the Motorola Q9
series. There is a workaround involving a change in the registry, but since
the registry is not familiar to all users (and there are no standard tools
in the system to change the registry), we working on an update of the
    program.

    Best regards
