Update your skyfire it doesnt require a login anymore.

and yes, a few days ago the skyfire server was down for a bit. However I still say that Skyfire is by far the best mobile browser out there...hands down.

Maybe that's why SF was acting weird last night.

Just tried it again.. Then installed it, again.

The fonts are still blurry and once the phone started heating up I was done.
My phone doesn't need any help killing the battery.

New version pro-better home page, much faster with less checkerboarding.

Con-It doesn't like css with fonts much.

A step in the right direction with the speed, my biggest gripe.

I saw in the Skyfire forums that if you have a Q, it is best to uninstall old version - then install new, then login. A Skyfire company person said something about problems with "Moto Q" recogining old versions when updating. I uninstalled then put new one in with no prob on my silver Q9h.

I've started a habit of storing the old .cab versions on my card and my pc - in case I have to revert.

I do have a question though - last time I installed Skyfire to my card. This time (as per Skyfire guide) I put it directly on the device. I watched a 50 minute episode of Star Trek (Fancast), and it seemed that my Q9h ran cooler. Does this make any sense?

I have a verizon Q9C and have had no upgrade problems.

The skyfire update has a slightly more spiffy homescreen that basically integrates Facebok/Twitter stuff on your Skyfire start page.

Overall performance seems increased slightly. Zooming is definitely faster, and Skyfire doesn't seem to hang up so much.

The location of some Skyfire menu items has been changed and cleaned up. Nothing major.

Most noticeable of the upgrades...Skyfire now increases the font size making *some* items more easily readable while zoomed out. Takes some getting used to but it doesn't seem to hurt anything.

I am eager to see what else Skyfire has planned. If you haven't already upgraded, go get it.

It is much better now. The two thing I would like to see go away is the confirmation page that comes up after you submit a tweet and after you submit the update, it would me nice if the home page refreshes.

On that note, I'm kinda disappointed they got rid of the Weather plugin for the skyfire homescreen. It seems like a really small thing, but I used that more than my full blown weather program (Weather Watcher) from singer's creations.

has anyone tried to delete any gmail using skyfire. It wont work for me. When the grey box comes up, the pointer flies all over the screen and you cant get to the OK box. It worked in the past.
